August 2020-May 2021

Resident Assistant

As the RA for Spectrum House in Britton/Hadley Hall at WMU I manage students, provide support and guidance, and program events to get students engaged on campus. I also deal with behavior management through room conflicts and run duty shifts of securing the building.

Election Official

I was an election official for the Primary and General elections in 2018 and 2020. I set up the polling location, managed security through the location, helped voters register, make sure that people are following election law and complete the voting process and take down the polling location. I have gone through extensive training for this position and am on track to becoming a co-chair of a live precinct.

June 2018-August 2019

Senior Resident Counselor

Through the summers I work as a Senior Resident Counselor at Camp Chickagami in Presque Isle MI. This role has me managing youth ages 8-17, programming events and being responsible for youth's overall well-being. This is a summer only position that I hold.

Western Michigan University, Bachelors of Arts and Sciences

I attend Western Michigan University pursuing a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Education. My majors include English Secondary Education and Business Education. I recieved the Jane and John Fierer Scholarship for Business Education. I currently hold a 3.29 cumulative GPA.

Milford High School, Diploma

September 2015-June 2019

I attended Milford High School and recieved my high school diploma. I took 6 AP classes and 2 Honors classes while at Milford, and also participated in Marching Band, Concert Bands, Career Internship, Equestrian and DECA all while maintaining my grades. I held numerous leadership positions in DECA, Marching Band, and Concert Bands, including VP of Communication (DECA), Unsung Hero (Marching Band), Assistant Student Director (Concert Bands).

Certifications and Trainings

August 2020

Behavioral First Responder

Certified through Alpenglow, I have completed a 30 hour course on how to respond to behavioral emergencies, including but not limited to, responding to a suicidal indiviudal, recognizing the signs and symptoms of trauma, abuse, substance use and PTSD, as well as recongizing and working with individuals who are neurodivergent, including ADHD, ADD, and Autisic.

February 2020

Safe on Campus Training Certified

Certified through WMU's Office of LBGT Student Services. This certifies me as a safe person for a member of the LGBTQ+ Community to come talk to if need be.

August 2019

Safe Church Level 3

Certified through the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, for safe church training which covers how to protect youth and vulnerable adults from predators, and if something does happen, how to report it.

November 2018

Wilderness First Aid

Certified through NOLS in first aid that may be needed while hiking, camping, or doing outdoor activities in an intense situation. Learned skills such as splinting broken or sprained bones, cleaning wounds, wrapping ankles and wrists, and how to make a radio report if a medical evacuation is need amongst other skills.
